HART,
Samuel Hopgood.
In Memoriam to the Rev. G. J. R.
Ouseley. Text in the Internet. Text written in Ilfracombe (Devon,
England), 1952.
Information:
This is a biographical essay about the Rev. Gideon Jasper Richard Ouseley, who
was a great admirer of the work and the message of Anna Kingsford and Edward
Maitland. We found this essay in the site created by Jim Brooks, where we also
can read the
Gospel of the Holy Twelve, which was presented to the
world by the Rev. Ouseley, who affirms that he was helped (in dreams and
visions) by Anna Kingsford and others (see the entry about the
Gospel of
the Holy Twelve). In this essay Samuel H. Hart reports, among other
interesting points, the following opinion of the Rev. Ouseley:
When I
told him of my interest in the teaching of
The Perfect Way, he
said, in his opinion it was the brightest and best of all revelations that
had been given to the World.
In a
letter to Light (1882, p. 475) he described
The Perfect Way
as the most wonderful of all books which have appeared since the Christian
era.
